Hello everyone!
A quick announcement regarding PHP versions. PHP 7.4 reached end of life in November of last year, with prior versions being out of support for much longer. At this point, it is no longer feasible to continue to support these versions on our servers. We are planning on updating our servers to support the following PHP versions:
- PHP 8.0
- PHP 8.1
We are providing a two-month lead time before we make this change live across all servers. This means that on 6/13/2023, all ExiaHost servers will cease support for PHP versions below 8.0. We understand that this is not an ideal situation, however, in order to offer a secure hosting environment, we must make this change. We will be sending out email reminders periodically as we get closer to this date. Additionally, we will be enabling PHP 8.0 and PHP 8.1 across all servers by the end of this week. This will allow you to migrate to these versions yourself ahead of schedule using the MultiPHP Manager that is available within your cPanel account. This will allow you to test your sites out with the latest versions of PHP before the cut-off date.
